Abjad ENG

Your path to certifying your skills in Arabic language, step by step

Abjad Qualifications are in-depth exams that make learning Arabic enjoyable, effective and rewarding.

Each exam focuses on a level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), helping learners to improve their speaking, writing, reading and listening skills step by step.

An A1 level of Arabic would be sufficient for very simple interactions, for example as a tourist in an Arabic-speaking country. An A1 level would not be sufficient for other academic or professional purposes.

A2 qualification shows that you can communicate in basic Arabic in everyday situations and will help you prepare for higher level Abjad qualifications.

B1 shows that you can communicate in Arabic in practical, everyday situations. It will give you a good foundation if you want to study for higher level Abjad qualifications.

B2 qualification proves that you can speak and write Arabic well enough to study or work in an Arabic-speaking environment.

C1 qualification shows that your Arabic is of a standard expected of a professional business person or an undergraduate university student.

C2 qualification shows that you have mastered Arabic to an exceptional level and can use it fluently in demanding research, academic and professional situations. This is the highest Abjad qualification.
